NPHC Candidate Referral Program

We’re in the business of connecting qualified people of color with job opportunities that will enrich their lives. The role we play as recruiters/connectors plays such a critical role in the well-being of so many people. We also recognize the power in networks and leveraging those networks to share and fill job opportunities (and get paid).

Methodology

Select organizations opt-in to the NPHC Candidate Referral Program based on their recruitment/sourcing exposure and access to wide networks of professionals of color. We will review your credentials and inform you if you have been selected for the program.

Time Commitment

The program was purposely designed to be simple and manageable. You can completely ignore the recruiter job alert emails, passively share with your networks to gauge interest or completely launch your own sourcing campaign and target qualified candidates in and out of your network (think of it as being the best low-pressure high-impact side hustle that could very well be a full time job).

Job Alerts + Candidate Submissions

We’re working hard each day speaking to new and existing employer partners in your region, building relationships and winning searches for in-person and remote opportunities. We remain uncompromising in our willingness to serve our (corporate and candidate) clients with integrity and a spirit of excellence. We want to ensure we honor their unique characteristics while always valuing their time. We know transferable skillsets are a real thing, however when submitting candidates for open roles - please only submit candidates with direct experience. The candidate’s resume should directly reflect a minimum of 75% of the bulleted items on the job description. Each candidate submission should include a brief yet detailed overview of the candidate’s professional background, including years of experience, skills and credentials/certifications. You can expect to receive confirmation of candidate submission and relative updates throughout the lifecycle of the candidate’s application and interview process.

Payment

Please note, the candidate needs to be hired in order for the payment process to begin. We want to incentivize your organization AND its members. You get paid when the firm gets paid. We invoice the company on the candidate’s first day and payment is expected within 30 calendar days. Some companies are really good about processing their invoices earlier than later. We’ll be sure to provide updates every step of the way. It’s important to us that you are kept in the loop at all times and know exactly how much to expect and when to expect it. Chapter member who sourced candidate that led to hire = $1000

Total Payout = $2000

Please note, we are required by the IRS to issue 1099 forms to any individual or entity who performs any services in partnership with D9 R/E.
